Well, this mornings art project turned out pretty cute, but unfortunately, it was a major headache, which consisted of me yelling at Kristian not to use too much glue, which was then shortly followed by a temper tantrum which lasted for the rest of the morning! Ugh… I really do know the true meaning of “terrible twos!”

We have a mantra we chant when we are using glue that I learned from my preschool teacher days, “Tiny dots…not a lot!” And I’m evil enough to only open the glue enough for tiny dots to come out. But there was a time period where I only bought glue sticks unless we were making flubber!
I threw a temper tantrum today… and I didn’t even get to use glue. :: frown ::
LOL! It turned out cute! I typically use glue sticks, which Katie thinks is also chapstick, Benji thinks it’s paint (I have the kind that goes on purple, dries clear) so he uses 1 stick in about 2 minutes.
As far as tantrums, I hate to break it to you, but they don’t stop after the terrible two’s. (Look Alaina just had one today!) :0
P.S. Your kids are normal, don’t sweat it!!!!
Thanks for posting pictures anyway so WE could all enjoy the project too! You did GOOD to even attempt the project with two little ones their ages!
(Just imagine what it would have been like with REAL eggs and dying them!!!)
Ooh, it turned out cute though! And the terrible two’s…I seriously had NO idea what that meant. I sure do now, thanks to my lovely daughter. And people keep telling me three is worse!? Your kids are so, so cute though!
